2009 UK National Smoking Cessation Conference
The UK National Smoking Cessation Conference attracted world class speakers presenting the very latest in clinical, research and policy developments.

This year, the UKNSCC reflected the innovations being made with new medications and approaches to behavioural support; and will lead the discussion on how treatment services are funded and configured.

The World Class Commissioning of stop smoking services, the regulation of the profession through the UK Public Health Register, the proposed National Centre for Smoking Cessation Training and the future of the government's tobacco control strategy were all featured in the conference programme.

The UKNSCC agenda was driven by the involvement of the field and contained presentations from practitioners that focus on the policy and practice of helping smokers to stop.
